ODS Global International Outreach

Many young boys and girls here in America and abroad wake up each day and face the threat of child exploitation, trafficking and being forced into a life of prostitution by predators who sell them a dream of love and affection which may be lacking in their lives. It is predicted that in excess of 1.2 million children are trafficked each year worldwide. In the US the number is around 300,000 according to the Washington Post. Nigeria, the native country of ODS Global Outreach International’s CEO has been widely known as a hub for human trafficking.

It has become the goal and mission of ODS Global Outreach International’s CEO to provide an opportunity for young girls and boys in Nigeria and the US to have an alternative to surrendering into this lifestyle. This alternative is accomplished in two major ways. First, by mentoring programs designed especially to reach those youths that are vulnerable to those looking to exploit them, and secondly, by providing scholarship opportunities to a select number of youths each year.

The mentoring program has two initiatives. 1. The male initiative called the “Men of Standard” mentoring program for young boys and 2. The female initiative called the “Ladies of Excellence” mentoring program for young girls. Both mentoring programs offer guidance and learn in the areas of Etiquette, Respect, Honor, Teen Talk, Gang Resistance Program and Fiscal Responsibility. These programs will empower these youths to become upstanding citizens of their countries and enjoy a lifestyle of dignity and class.

The mentoring will be taught by trained qualified individuals that are part of the ODS Global Outreach International family or community partners that share our goals and mission. The scholarship opportunities will be made available annually during the application period that will run from April 1 to July 31 and will be awarded on August 15 of each year.
